Sister Patricia Donovan McCrann, in partnership with the Sisters of the Holy Names, founded Namaste in 1986. Sister Pat heard people living and working in the heart of the city - lay persons and those in ministries alike - voicing a need for a peaceful space for reflection and for reconnecting with their deepest spirit. Her mission became to help their search for the sacred in daily life and it was called Namaste.
