Spiritual direction, also called spiritual guidance or spiritual companionship, is a relationship in which one person, deeply desiring to grow in the Spirit, meets regularly with another in order to discern God’s presence and continuing invitation to union in a deep and faithful way.

Sr. Pat McCrann offers spiritual direction on a sliding-scale fee to individuals at her offices located in North Portland and Oregon City. She also offers guided individual retreats at the Sequoia Retreat House in Oregon City. Her role as a Spiritual Director is rooted in the belief that each person is a mystic and is called to intimate union with the Divine.

She is also the program director for the Contemplative Listening Program, a two-year training and certification program for spiritual directors.
